What's the plan?
Join the Cycle on you Spurs team for next year's Football to Amsterdam ride from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 June 2022.
Friday 10 June: Arrive at Lee Valley VeloPark early in the morning, ready to take on the first day of the ride! You’ll cover around 80 miles through East London and into the Essex countryside and onto Harwich, where a warm shower and food buffet awaits before the overnight ferry to Holland. The day is nicely broken up into a number of rest stops, with food provided, and allows plenty of time to reach Harwich.
Saturday 11 June: It’s the start of Day 2! You’ll enjoy breakfast on the ferry before cycling approximately 55 miles from Hook of Holland on mostly flat cycle paths and a leisurely ride through the Dutch countryside to Amsterdam, finishing at the Johan Cruijff ArenA with a medal and congratulatory drink. After a few photos your bike is loaded into the van and heads off back to London for collection on the Sunday. It’s then onto the hotel for a celebratory meal and the chance to have a night out in Amsterdam with all your team mates.
Sunday 12 June: Day 3 is a break from cycling, with a coach ride to Brussels before the Eurostar to London and then a short hop back to Stratford to pick up your trusty bike.
