Forum rules - please read before using
Welcome. The THST members’ forum is an online community for full members of the THST to connect with other members, including the elected Board of the Trust, and to discuss the work of the Trust.
How we connect
When you register, you’ll be asked to use your own name as a user name. We want to create a healthy and inviting environment, and we think using real names helps create that atmosphere.
We expect all members to contribute to creating an open and welcoming forum. This means respecting others’ opinions, no swearing, no discrimination, no aggression and nothing that is legally actionable.
When you post, please write clearly, so that other members find it easy to read and comment on your thoughts; stay on topic; and treat others as you would like them to treat you.
Please do not post personal information in public.
What we talk about
This forum is for full members of the Trust to discuss the work the Trust does. Please read the ‘About us’ section of our website www.thstofficial.com for a clear idea of our remit.
This is not the forum for club customer service enquiries, debates about on-field activity or the history of the club. There are numerous other Spurs fan forums dealing with those subjects far better than we ever could.
Individual members of the Trust Board do not guarantee to respond to direct questions posed on threads, but will endeavour to reply to DMs.
Moderating this forum
This community will be as good as its members make it. It’s in everyone’s interest to carry out and promote good practice, and to counter bad practice. The forum operates a post-moderation policy. Moderators will, in certain cases, edit or delete content that contravenes the community guidelines.
If a moderator takes action against an individual, the individual in question will be contacted directly with an explanation and will have the chance to explain their case. Moderators will try to resolve any issues through discussion.
Moderators will try to remove any comments that contravene community guidelines within 48 hours of being notified of a breach.
We don’t allow:
Think before you comment
If you find yourself in a dispute, stop and think about the effect your next post might have. In these moments, ask yourself, “Is this worth it?” or “What do I gain if I continue to engage in this conflict?” Acknowledging harassment by engaging in harassment yourself can reinforce bad behaviour and may encourage the other person to continue their aggressive behaviour.
