![]() The Boards of THST and THFC meet for their next formal meeting tonight, Monday 30 March. The Agenda for this session has been shaped by questions submitted from THST members and is shared below. Minutes from the meeting will follow later this week. ![]() THST welcomes the decision by the Board of THFC to move the renewal date for 2015/16 Season Tickets back from 30 April to 18 May. This move alleviates the financial burden on the fans who pay the most and means that, alongside the price freeze, parity with last year’s position has been maintained. ![]() As well as queries on ticketing, policing, travel and 1,001 questions about the stadium project, the Trust also gets a lot of comments, feedback and questions on the match day experience at White Hart Lane – including the catering. So, before the Swansea home game on 4 March, Katrina Law and Kevin Fitzgerald of THST met with Terry Buxton, Retail Catering Manager at Centerplate, to discuss the concourse catering at WHL. THFC’s Supporter Liaison Officer, Jonathan Waite, also came along to talk burgers, beer and beigels (or is it bagels?). ![]() THST welcomes Archway Sheet Metal Works Ltd’s decision not to challenge last month’s High Court judgement upholding Haringey Council’s CPO. We are grateful that this matter has now been resolved without recourse to further legal proceedings and we look forward to finally seeing the new stadium and wider regeneration of the area progress. ![]() THST supports the call to #ShareTVWealth. Football has become a valuable business because of its deep roots in our culture. But the contrast between the vast wealth pouring into the game at the top and the price the fans who have made the game such a valuable asset for club owners, broadcasters and sponsors are asked to pay has become too great. Football is losing touch with its roots. And if it does not address this issue, the cultural and the financial value of the game will be adversely affected. ![]() With four home games left to play this season, we wanted to update supporters on the situation with StubHub and the Club's future plans for the ticket exchange. It seems likely that THFC will be discussing next year's arrangements now, or in the very near future, so we also wanted to take the opportunity to remind the Club publicly of our position. ![]() DAVE MACKAY As we prepared this newsletter, news of the death of Dave Mackay broke. Dave was not only a Tottenham Hotspur legend, he was a true giant of the game of football. In the coming days and weeks, we know the Club, its supporters and the game itself will pay tribute to the life and achievements of our former captain, and we wanted to open this newsletter with our own small expression of appreciation. Our thoughts are with Dave’s family and friends at this sad time. Dave’s was a life well lived and the legend will go marching on. ![]() Representatives from THST met with the London Borough of Haringey and Transport for London (TfL) on Tuesday 17 February 2015 to look at detailed proposals for White Hart Lane station. The station project is part of a wider Haringey proposal for north Tottenham known as ‘High Road West Regeneration’. This includes an allocated sum of money, c.£8.5 million, for the WHL station approach. The station itself is separate to that and is expected to cost c.£15m, with funding for that yet to be secured by TfL. |
