The much-loved end of the football season social is back for the third year running as THST teams up with the Antwerp Arms to host its Summer BBQ on Sunday 27 May 2018. This year, we'll be joined by special guest and FA Cup and UEFA Cup winner, Micky Hazard, who'll be interviewed by Spurs Show host and film producer, Theo Delaney.

Catering in the new stadium: Update

On Wednesday 4 April, THST Board Member and catering lead, Rachel Martin, met with David Peskett and Antonio Sellecchia from Compass (Levy Restaurants) and Jonathan Waite, Head of Supporter Services at THFC, for a scheduled update on the general admission catering offering in the new stadium.

FA responds to fan rep calls over cup pricing

Following the meeting last week between senior FA executives and fan representatives from the teams competing in this season’s FA Cup semi-finals regarding ticket pricing for the semi-finals and final, the FA has confirmed a number of changes to its previous approach.

On Monday 9 April, fan representatives from the Clubs competing in the FA Cup semi-finals along with FA Council supporter representative, Katrina Law, met with FA CEO, Martin Glenn and senior FA executives to discuss the increase in pricing for this season’s FA Cup semi-finals and final.

Tottenham Hotspur have posted their accounts for the 2016-17 financial year, which covers the period for the football season of the same period. We provided our analysis for the 2015-16 season which raised a number of questions, many of which have subsequently been addressed either through clarification directly from the club or other information coming to light.

Our analysis of the previous set of accounts remains apposite in terms of highlighting key elements of the structure of the club’s finances, however in light of our concern over pricing of season tickets at the new stadium we have decided to take a different tack with the 2016-17 accounts. Our interest is in seeing the extent to which the 2016-17 accounts can be used to predict the future financial position of the club and the extent to which new season ticket pricing is dictated by the demands of servicing the debt incurred to fund the new stadium – as the club insists is the case.
