![]() Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust Board Meeting. Wednesday 30th July 2014 7.00pm Nabarro LLP, Lacon House, 84 Theobald’s Road, WC1X 8RW ![]() Following negotiations with THFC, Haringey Council and the Safety Advisory Group, we have been given permission to use a full size 'Surfing' flag in White Hart Lane next season. A 'Surfer' is a large flag that is passed above the crowd, along a stand, normally in the build up to kick off. It is designed to create a visual impact both in the stadium and for TV audiences at home. Over the past couple of weeks, we've encouraged fans to submit their ideas for the flag and we now have 10 potential designs for the surfer. We'd like you to vote on which design you'd like to see on the flag. The design with the most votes will be put into production asap. Thank you for your input and for taking the time to vote on this. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SurferVote ![]() The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust (AST), Chelsea Supporters’ Trust (CST), Spirit of Shankly (SoS) and Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust (THST) recently joined together to meet with the Football Association (The FA) to discuss various issues around the FA Cup and to put forward the views of supporters on matters that affect them relating to the staging of the competition. The meeting took place at Wembley and the FA was represented by Jonathan Hall, Director of Football Services and Graham Noakes, Head of Football Administration. ![]() Last Winter, THST asked for your help designing a Surfing Flag for use pre match at White Hart Lane. After dozens of submissions, the top ten were put to the public vote and the winning design from 5000 votes was made into the 18ft x 18ft flag. Unfortunately, limitations were placed on the size of the flag that made Surfing very difficult. More background can be read here. Discussions have since progressed with Haringey Council and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and we are now in a position to introduce a full sized Surfing Flag for the forthcoming season. This is where we need your help... ![]() Snowdon conquered! Two of our members, Ryan Lewis and Gary Parker, walked up Snowdon on 29 June to raise £340 for the Trust. They joined fans from clubs across the country at an event organised by the Wrexham Supporters Trust to celebrate the Welsh club’s 150th anniversary. ![]() Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust News June 2014 Updates on: 1. Meetings 2. Fundraising 3. Campaigns 4. Other ![]() THST is extremely concerned at the unusually long time being taken to reach a decision on the Compulsory Purchase Order application for Archway Sheet Metal Works Limited. The Trust has written to David Lammy MP and Haringey Council to offer our support in their ongoing efforts to speed up the Secretary of State's decision. In the interests of all parties, we would welome a swift conclusion to this matter. |
