Spurs fans reveal dissatisfaction with Wembley ticketing and hopes for new stadium in THST survey9/8/2017
![]() Spurs fans have expressed significant dissatisfaction with the pricing and sales processes around season ticketing for the Club’s year at Wembley. And they have been putting forward their hopes for the new stadium. Almost two-thirds say price is the single most important factor that will influence their decision on renewing or purchasing tickets in the new ground, and fans also named the legends whose names they want to see included in the new stadium. ![]() Fans of Tottenham Hotspur expressed strong backing for the accessible pricing policies adopted by the Club last season – making the Club’s pricing decisions so far this summer all the more disappointing. And after the first season of the Premier League’s £30 away ticket price cap it’s clear there is broad support for the policy, and that it’s not the primary factor affecting demand for away tickets. Not surprisingly, fans welcome the reduced cost of something they are committed to. ![]() The biggest ever response to THST’s annual survey has revealed Spurs fans are happy with what’s happening on the pitch, but harbour some concerns about what’s happening off it. Over 3,200 fans took part in the survey to gauge fan opinion on a wide range of issues. The survey, which ran from 23 June to 9 July and is now in its fourth year, plays a major part in influencing how THST works over the coming season. ![]() To help Tottenham Hotspur fans based in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex travel to Wembley for home games this coming season, coach provider Zeelo is offering transport to and from the national stadium. And if you’re a THST member, you can get £10 off your first booking with promo code THST10 if you book before 1st September 2017. ![]() Since the Club ended its commercial partnership with StubHub at the start of June and announced that the resale platform was to be taken back in house, we've lobbied consistently for a face-value exchange tailored for the unique circumstances of Wembley next season. We said this should be done while retaining the flexibility to adapt in the future into a service that is appropriate for and of real benefit to fans of Tottenham Hotspur. |
