The Board of THST invites full and associate members to the Autumn Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 14 October 2015. This is your chance to raise questions on any area of THST current work, to feed into future campaigns and to tell us what you think we need to be doing and how we should be doing it. This meeting will be an open forum for all to participate so please make every effort to come along on the night. If you know someone who wants to join, there will be the opportunity for them to sign up on the spot.
Supporters’ trusts’ campaign results in successful Freedom of Information request
The coalition of 14 supporters’ trusts seeking clarity on the Olympic Stadium deal with West Ham United FC today called on London Mayor Boris Johnson and the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) to ensure the full publication of the commercial terms of the contract after a positive response from the Information Commissioner.
We’re receiving an increasing number of requests from members and fans to respond to the calls to act over the refugee crisis that is dominating headlines. We’re just a football supporters trust, and the crisis raises much wider issues than we deal with. But that shouldn’t stop us responding in a humanitarian way.

The Government’s response to calls for a public inquiry into the deal between the London Legacy Development Corporation and West Ham United for the rental of the Olympic Stadium has been condemned as “wholly inadequate” by a coalition of 14 football Supporters’ Trusts. The coalition had set up a petition on the UK Government website, calling for a public inquiry into the terms of the deal.
It is always difficult for a supporters’ organisation to pass comment on the detail of transfer deals – deals that are business transactions conducted privately. We can, however, take note of the general approach to and results of the Club’s transfer activity.
