THST write to UEFA over Europa League kick off time

It's been confirmed that our Round of 32 Europa League tie against Wolfsberger FC on Wednesday 24 February will kick off at 5pm. This is due to the requirements of the TV contract and the clash with Arsenal's home tie in the competition. As FA Cup winners, Arsenal take precedence for the Thursday evening slot.

It’s been an incredibly tough year but Spurs fans, and in particular Trust members, have once again shown their amazing generosity through their donations to the Tottenham Foodbank and Meals for the NHS, alongside ongoing support for our regular charities Prostate Cancer UK and Studio 306 Collective. We are so grateful to each and every fan who has supported one or more of those great causes and we know the huge difference this has made on a local as well as a national level.

Why governance matters, and why it should matter to you

Governance is a word usually guaranteed to make everyone glaze over. But here’s why it’s important and here’s why English football needs reform.
In 1983, Tottenham Hotspur FC’s then Chairman, Irving Scholar, wrote to the Football Association asking it to disregard FA Rule 34 to allow the Club to set up a holding company, THFC plc. Rule 34 was a long-standing rule which established that football club directors were the custodians of their clubs; in place to look after and support clubs but prohibited from being paid. It also restricted any dividends to shareholders, and protected grounds from asset stripping. It basically made being the director of a football club a form of public service. And it established football clubs as community assets, not standalone businesses.

Trust Board meeting with Club Board: Report

On the evening of Tuesday 1 December, representatives of the Trust Board met with representatives of the Club Board for a scheduled meeting via Zoom. Questions were invited in advance from THST members which, as always, informed the agenda. Every question submitted was collated and presented to the Club in advance of the meeting as a pre-read. To follow is a report of the meeting, approved and agreed as an accurate account of discussions by both THST and THFC.
