Chelsea Football Club will be operating the same queuing system as last season, with additional security checks because of the Paris attacks. These will include coat and bag checks, electronic scanners and dogs. The minimum time it will take a fan to move through the various holding areas, check points and turnstiles is roughly 6- 8 minutes, but this will be increased dramatically during the traditional pinch point of 15-20 minutes before kick off.
So, we urge Spurs fans to arrive at Stamford Gate no less than 45 minutes before kick off to be inside for the start of the match. We want to ensure our team gets the best possible support, and that all our fans get in safely and in time for kick-off.
We are told that CFC plan to sell alcohol in the away sections both pre match and at half time, but that this will be dependent on the behaviour of fans on the night and decisions will be made as situations develop.
Designated away pubs for Spurs fans are the Earls Court Tavern, The Courtfield, The Blackbird and The Prince of Teck.
Please also remember there is a Bank Holiday service in operation on the District Line on Monday evening.
Chelsea FC has also provided the following guide for visiting supporters, which we recommend reading before heading off to the match.
