The start of a new season has focussed our minds on a problem that has not disappeared over the summer. Tottenham Foodbank and North Enfield Foodbank are still in need of our help to support those less fortunate than ourselves in our local community.
We continue our partnership with THFC in asking for financial donations through the text giving service which we will promote before every game this season through our social media channels. THFC is also planning to use in-stadium assets to boost the campaign.
In addition, Tottenham Foodbank is planning to base their van (which your kind donations through JustGiving last year helped to buy) at the Community Sports Centre before each home game, starting this Sunday from 14;00, to accept donations of non perishable goods. Their pressing need this week is for donations of spreads (e.g. Jam, Honey, Peanut Butter, Chocolate). We will keep you informed in advance of each game as to which items are particularly needed that week.
You can donate to Tottenham and North Enfield Foodbanks at any time by texting COYSFOODBANK and any donation amount to 70085. To donate £10, text COYSFOODBANK 10, for example. Anything you can afford would be hugely appreciated. Those living overseas or unable to use a text donation service are encouraged to donate via Tottenham Foodbank's crowdfunding page.
