Martin has served on the Trust Board for more than eight years and led the Trust as Co-Chair until standing down in July this year.
His leadership with fellow Co-Chair Kat Law has built the Trust into one of the most influential supporters’ organisations in the country and advanced the cause of all football fans.
It is impossible to put into a few words all that Martin has achieved for the Trust and for the wider supporter movement. With his knowledge, commitment and expertise, Martin has ensured the voice of fans cannot be ignored and must be respected, and he has done so with his customary wit and verve as a respected journalist and author.
Martin’s contribution has been immense, and the responsibility now lies with us on the Trust Board to ensure the legacy he leaves is built on and developed.
We are very sorry to lose Martin from the Board, but we entirely understand and respect his decision and wish him every success and happiness in the future - particularly while watching Spurs.
