Yesterday, it was announced that the MUFC allocation for the match at Tottenham Hotspur on 28 December 2014 has been increased by 850 tickets to c 2,600.
Under Premier League Rules, the recommended away allocation is 3,000 or 10% for grounds with a capacity of under 30,000.
Since 2009/10, MUFC has been allocated c 1900 tickets for this fixture, with the upper tier allocation removed completely and Block 35 handed over to accommodate all visiting supporters in the Park Lane lower.
For the upcoming game, visiting supporters will be housed in Blocks 36/ 37/ 38 of the Park Lane Lower and Blocks 45/46/ 47 of the Park Lane upper tier, thus returning popular Block 35 to home fans.
When fans work together, we can get results. We are currently in conversation with the Chelsea Supporters Trust to address the many issues arising from the treatment of the away contingent on Wednesday night, and we will continue to work alongside other fan groups to secure better treatment for all supporters.
