1. Meetings
Police & Safety Forum Meeting
Representatives of THST met with Haringey Council, the Metropolitan Police and THFC on 9 June to discuss all aspects of match day policing/stewarding, transport (including CPZ) and any safety issues in and around the stadium.
Full minutes from this meeting can be viewed here.
Consultation on Football Supporters’ Trusts, Parliament
On 2 July, THST Board members attended a meeting called by Clive Efford MP to discuss the relationship between supporters’ trust fans groups and fans with the footballing authorities and the clubs themselves. The purpose of this was for Mr Efford to take ideas away and investigate how legislation could potentially assist with these issues. Ideas raised included the licensing of clubs, a fan on the board, protection of heritage issues such as names, kits and area and a more robust complaints procedure for fans against the authorities. We will keep you informed of any updates we receive.
FA Challenge Cup Committee Meeting
Representatives of THST, Arsenal Supporters’ Trust, Chelsea Supporters’ Trust and the Spirit of Shankly will be meeting with the FA on 7 July to discuss ticket allocations throughout the FA Cup competition, including the Final. This is a follow on from Spurs receiving only 5186 out of a possible 9000 tickets for the 3rd Round tie at the Emirates on 4 January.
Premier League Supporter Liaison Officer & Fan Representative Meeting
A representative of the THST Board will be present at the second annual SLO/ Fans meet on 14 July in Nantwich, Cheshire, at the invitation of THFC. The topics for discussion will follow on from the meeting last year in Cardiff, where the away fans experience was discussed, feeding back on developments made during the season.
Supporters Direct/ Football Supporters Federation Summit 2014
THST Board members will be attending the annual Supporters Direct/ Football Supporters Federation Summit on 25 and 26 July. The conference will be held at Wembley stadium this summer.
It is open to all fans so please visit www.supporterssummit.co.uk for more details and to book your place.
WHU/THFC Police & Safety Meeting
Following on from the Police & Safety Forum meeting at White Hart Lane on 9 June, THST engaged the help of the Football Supporters’ Federation to facilitate a meeting with West Ham United fan reps, West Ham’s safety officer, THFC’s safety officer and the Metropolitan Police ahead of the opening game of the season to discuss all issues of policing, stewarding and fan behaviour. Date tbc.
THST Q3 Board Meeting
The next meeting of the THST Board has been scheduled for 30 July.
2. Fundraising
Mount Snowdon Climb
At the invitation of Wrexham Supporters’ Trust, two Trust members - Gary Parker and Ryan Lewis – successfully climbed Mount Snowdon on 29 June to raise money for THST. We are incredibly grateful to both Gary and Ryan for stepping up to the challenge and raising £340 for the Trust. Thank you.
Save the Antwerp Arms
The Trust continues to offer support to the Antwerp Arms Association in its efforts to make the pub a community owned asset. The amount raised in pledges was enough to start negotiations with the owner and we will update you as this process moves on. On behalf of ourselves and the AAA we would like to thank everyone who has supported the effort so far, be this through pledging, sharing information or drinking there!
3. Campaigning
Football Supporters’ Federation Fans March on PL/ FL Headquarters
Following the Fans protest last June, the FSF is co-ordinating a march on the Premier League and Football League Headquarters on Thursday 14 August, calling for football to be made affordable for all. THST will be represented and urge as many supporters as possible to attend on the day. Full details can be found on the FSF website, here:http://www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/save-the-date-fans-to-march-on-plfl-hq

Official Supporters Clubs
THST has mailed all Official Supporters Clubs encouraging them to join the Trust to strengthen our collective voices with the Club. We have been delighted with the response with India and Cyprus converting to full members and several others including Glasgow, South Dorset, West Belfast, Lisburn, Swindon, Kernow, Sweden, Italy, Atlanta, Dallas, Buffalo, Hellenic, Indonesia and Japan Spurs set to join imminently.
Read our Supporters Clubs proposition here.
FinancesTHST filed the Annual Returns Form (AR30) with the Financial Conduct Authority for the years 2011-12 and 2012-13 following the auditing of the latest set of accounts in April.
Supporters Direct MembershipTHST renewed its full membership with Supporters Direct at the start of June, which entitles us to vote at their AGM and access to support and consultancy throughout the year.
THST Fans Survey 2014
THST is due to release an end of Season survey in early July looking back at the previous campaign and planning ahead for 2014-15. This will help us gauge positions and provide a mandate for the coming season so it is important to participate once this is released.
