- THST is hopeful that our requests for concessions to be increased to U18 are, at least, being acknowledged by the Club. Again, we hope for news by mid March
- THST and THFC both considered using Loyalty Points to allocate tickets for Cat A home games via a tiered
application system (i.e. members with over 400 points on Day 1, members with over 350 on Day 2 etc.)
- After much discussion, it was agreed not to implement the suggested tiered application system for these matches
- Both THST and THFC agreed this would benefit such a small group of people compared to those it would penalise
- It would essentially make Cat A home games a closed shop
- THFC also confirmed the incidents of members with high loyalty points missing out on Cat A home games were few and far between
Away Game Loyalty Points
- Following on from our meeting in July, it has now been agreed to alter the way in which loyalty points are allocated for away matches
- From next season, points 1 2 3 4 5 will be allocated to away matches, replacing the old 1 3 5 system, decided by match category only
- Points will be based on the time and day of kick off, the location of the match and the match category, to reflect the distance fans travel and the time of the week as well as the quality of the opposition
- This means the points allocated to each match won't be confirmed until all of the aforementioned information is confirmed. This will be after application windows have opened/ closed on some occasions
- The '5' points will be solely reserved for European Away matches from next season onwards
Booking Fees
- At present, booking fees are charged as follows on match tickets:
Members: Online £1.75/ Phone £2.25
Non Members: £3.50
Personal callers: Free
- Members booking outside of a members window would be charged the non-member fee of £3.50
- THST felt this was unfair, THFC agreed and from next season, members will be charged £1.75 or £2.25 at all stages of a booking window
Changing kick offs post on-sale dates
- THST raised the issue of games moving after tickets go on sale, as illustrated by the Sunderland match moving from a Saturday to a
Monday this week
- THFC has agreed to speak with the Premier League to tighten up the process to avoid this happening again
StubHub
- THFC confirmed further changes would be made to the resale platform in the summer, including ending the ability to 'flip'
- THFC also declined to provide THST with any further transactional data from the platform, following on from the data shared from the opening 6 games of the season
