 | We were delighted to see the Club recently launch the Tottenham Hotspur Heritage Trail. |
The trail, which is largely based along the High Road in the vicinity of the stadium, consists of 16 ‘Heritage Points’.
These points help to detail the history of the club, highlight historical features in the local area, whilst providing a meaningful connection to both the local community and match day visitors.
The project comes from consultation carried out by the club and a range of local history groups, including English Heritage and Historic England.
The inspiration for the Heritage Trail undoubtably has its roots in the ‘Spurs Secret History Walks’ which were originally devised and hosted by our former secretary Pete Haine, current board member Rob White, and author Julie Welch in 2016.
Pete and Rob helped to advise the Club in the very early stages of the ‘Heritage Trail’, and continued to have input through the whole process.
